For a long time, ancient astronaut theorists have been arguing that humans and dinosaurs had lived together. To win this argument, the Ica Stones of Peru could be their only way. With the accumulation of more than 10,000 such stones, Dr. Javier Cabrera Darquea made this discovery popular around the world. He got his first stone of extinct species of fish in 1966 from a local farmer Basilo Uschuya.
Dr. Javier was a Professor of Medicine, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Lima, founder of the School of Medicine at the National University of Ica.
Uschuya claimed to have found Ica stones in a mysterious cave near the coastal mountains. He never disclosed the location of the cave to the archeologists, however, he said that there were at least 100,000 more stones. Dr. Javier found a great interest in the stones that made him quit his medical profession and open a private museum that he dedicated to the ancient culture of Peru. He believed that the earliest civilization of Peru had origin from a planet in the Pleiades a million years ago.

On the surface of these stones, there were carvings of a man and dinosaur together, including brontosaurs, stegosaurs, tyrannosaurs, and pterodactyls, use of telescopes, extinct animals, maps, and other ancient artifacts. According to some studies, these carvings on the stones were applied with a diamond cutter, using a very complex technology that could be evidence of the existence of highly developed human civilizations.
The first mentions of Ica stones with images of strange animals date back to the 16th century. The Indian chronicler named Juan de Santa Cruz Pachacuti Llamqui wrote in his chronicle “Relacion de antique dades d’este reyno del Peru (1570)” that many stones with engraved drawings were found in the Kingdom of Chperu-tomb in Chinchayunga. There are a number of other reports of early findings of stones with strange images.
The main place where these stones were found was the small village of Ica, around 300 km northwest of Lima, Perú. The farmer who gave these stones to Dr. Javier was detained for selling the stones to tourists. In his defense, he said that he had lied about the cave, as other locals continue to engrave these stones. Dr. Javier stuck to the authenticity of the stones and did not believe the farmer as such a large number of stones (50,000) could not be a hoax. Besides, the cave had another 100,000 stones. Nevertheless, at the same time, we cannot deny the fact that some of these stones were actually carved by the farmer, as he claimed.
Dr. Javier began collecting Ica stones in 1966. In his book “The Message of the Engraved Stones of Ica,” which he published in 1976, he wrote that the first stones were discovered in Okukah in 1961. Till today, this mystery has not been solved, and the Ica stone museum remains open for enthusiasts.
