The Mazda CX-5 SUV in a new car received a 230-horsepower gasoline turbo engine Skyactiv-G 2.5T, a modified G-Vectoring Control system, an upgraded and improved interior, as well as a luxury package bundle Exclusive Mode.

In the Japanese market, sales of the modified 2019 Mazda CX-5 SUV was started in early November 2018 at a price of $ 2,36,000. Engine Specification
Of course, the most important upgrade of the 2019 Mazda CX-5 crossover is boldly considering the new 2.5-liter gasoline turbo engine Skyactiv-G 2.5T (230 hp 420 Nm), aggregating by default with 6 automatic transmissions and offered in the local market for a crossover with front and all-wheel drive. This engine is also installed on the Mazda CX-9 large crossover and the upgraded Mazda 6.

The new turbocharged engine, on average, is content with just 7.93 liters of fuel (front-wheel drive) and 8.2 liters with all-wheel drive transmission.
In addition to the new turbocharged 2.5-liter gasoline engine under the hood of the updated Mazda CX-5 crossover, atmospheric gasoline engines and a turbo diesel engine from the pre-reform model are installed. So, the choice of engines now consists of as many as 4 engines.
- The basic petrol Skyactiv-G 2.0 (156 hp 199 Nm) of the company with 6 automatic transmissions and front-wheel drive 2WD.
- More powerful petrol Skyactiv-G 2.5 (190 hp 252 Nm) with 6 automatic transmissions and 2WD front-wheel drive (or 188 hp 250 Nm) in 6 automatic transmissions and 4WD all-wheel drive.
- New gasoline turbo engine Skyactiv-G 2.5T (230 hp 420 Nm) with 6 automatic transmissions and a choice of front-wheel drive 2WD and all-wheel drive 4WD.
- Turbo diesel Skyactiv-D 2.2 (190 hp 450 Nm) is able to work in tandem with 6 manual transmissions and 6 automatic transmissions and is also installed on front and full drive versions of the crossover.
Body Design
In the technical stuffing of the updated 2019 Mazda CX-5 crossover, an upgraded G-Vectoring Control system appeared, which was called G-Vectoring Control Plus. The system comes into operation a bit earlier than on pre-reform cars, allowing to drive more safely.
