The mysteries of ancient Egypt were complicated after the theory went viral that suggested the so-called “Tulli Papyrus” to be the first evidence of ancient flying saucers and UFOs. Then in 2010, the riddle of Djedkhonsuifeankh papyrus stunned ancient astronaut theorists with its uncanny scene UFO-shaped object on the Sphinx’s head.
The story of Djedkhonsuifeankh papyrus found in the Cairo Museum set off the storm after archaeo-astronomy researcher Wayne Herschel released his report. He claimed that the detail shown on the papyrus is of a real celestial ship ‘UFO’ landing on the back of the Giza Sphinx in ancient Egypt 5000 years ago.
This ancient papyrus is featured in a study titled “Cosmic Space and Archetypal Time, Depictions of the sky-goddess Nut in three royal tombs of the New Kingdom and the Relation to the Milky Way” by Amanda-Alice Maravelia.
The scene inscribed on the papyrus that stretches across the wall many feet long begins with a sacred story of “Zep Tepi” (āFirst Timeā or Golden Era). The obsession the ancient Egyptians had with their “gods” who they said had sailed down from the sky in “strange ships” is known to many people.
According to Herschel (as shown in the image below), the papyrus has the genesis tradition of Egypt with Goddess Nut (Nuit) personified as one holding all stars. She is a sacred feminine creation Goddess who gives birth to a Sun. But the Sun mentioned here is not ours but the one from another place, where these “gods,” are just beings of flesh and blood with some “magical looking” technology.
The Goddess is shown stretching forth over the sky from horizon to horizon. Her toes touch the ground, and there is the symbol for the Pleiades that is conclusive evidence now, as the “leg of the bull” symbol shows where the gods come from.
Herschel believed that the image of Ra shown with the bird head in the Tutmosis III tomb in the Valley of Kings could be a spaceship. Such depictions of the ship of the Egyptian so-called gods can be found in the tombs of the first great Pharaohs, especially the Tomb of Rameses IX.
The Rameses tomb shows a ship on something resembling a two-headed Sphinx. Secondly, it shows the more traditional symbol for a ship as one that would be appropriate for the river Nile.
In this tomb, another thing is really amazing. It shows two different ships that visited the Double head Sphinx and that:
1) It depicts going inside the Sphinx;
2) It depicts records of the Sun beneath it… Hall of Records ( purported ancient library claimed to lie under the Great Sphinx of Giza);
3) It shows the Sphinx with lions’ heads.

While taking a closer look at the ancient manuscript, it is clear that it is a disc-shaped object which has a radiating dome on top. It is depicted as having “landed” on the Sphinx, with three leg-like tripods seen protruding from the object. What if this is a real UFO, and not a plant or some sort of bug?
Curiously, in addition to the above-mentioned papyrus which āillustratesā the disc-shaped object, R. Cedric Leonard’s translation of Tulli Papyrus might add some sense to Herschel’s theory.
The translation of the text according to R. Cedric Leonard states:
āIn the year 22, of the third month of winter, sixth hour of the day [ā¦] among the scribes of the House of Life it was found that a strange Fiery Disk was coming in the sky. It had no head. The breath of its mouth emitted a foul odor. Its body was one rod in length and one rod in width. It had no voice. It came toward His Majestyās house. Their heart became confused through it, and they fell upon their bellies. They [went] to the king, to report it. His Majesty [ordered that] the scrolls [located] in the House of Life be consulted. His Majesty meditated on all these events which were now going on.
After several days had passed, they became more numerous in the sky than ever. They shined in the sky more than the brightness of the sun, and extended to the limits of the four supports of heaven [ā¦] Powerful was the position of the Fiery Disks.
The army of the King looked on, with His Majesty in their midst. It was after the evening meal when the Disks ascended even higher in the sky to the south. Fish and other volatiles rained down from the sky: a marvel never before known since the foundation of the country. And His Majesty caused incense to be brought to appease the heart of Amun-Re, the god of the Two Lands. And it was [ordered] that the event [be recorded for] His Majesty in the Annals of the House of Life [to be remembered] forever.ā
Could it be that the enigmatic disc-shaped object on the top of the Sphinx is one of those strange Fiery Disks mentioned in the Tulli Papyrus? However, we should not be carried away with any conclusions. Conversely, we should keep in mind that the Tulli Papyrus is not authentic, but a translation of a modern transcription of an alleged Egyptian document, the location of which is currently unknown.
All I see is a sun disc.
