The credibility of former Pentagon Director of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) Luis Elizondo has recently been questioned, and there has been an attempt to defame him. As expected, many people came in support of Mr. Elizondo and called himself the subject of a campaign of defamatory disinformation by multiple parties. It is well-documented that he was in fact the director of the AATIP.
For the last few years, Mr. Elizondo has become the face of UAP/UFO disclosure. He has been sharing some valuable information on social media. In his long interview with filmmaker Curt Jaimungal, he discussed the possibility and cases that demonstrate that UFOs and their occupants could be capable of shape-shifting, cloaking, and camouflage.
The interview was published in October 2021 on “Theories of Everything with Curt Jaimungal,” where Mr. Elizondo talked about many UFO incidents, alien abductions, witnesses’ sightings, and how the government sees the UAP phenomena.
Elizondo’s take seems to underscore the validity of such renowned Ufologists as Jacques Vallée, who has referred to aliens as “tricksters,” and late John Keel, who rejected the so-called “extraterrestrial theory” to explain aliens — in favor of his own term: “ultraterrestrials” — thus the birth of the “Mothman Prophesies.”
The host asked Mr. Elizondo: “Is there any evidence that these X (aliens, creatures, future humans) can shapeshift, can look like other humans or other creatures?”
Mr. Elizondo answered: “You know, I don’t know but I’ll tell you, mimicry is something that is common in nature, and it’s even common in what we do. There are species to defend themselves in the animal kingdom. Let’s take a coral snake versus a king snake, the coral snake is very deadly, the king snake has the same colors except for the color arrangements that are in opposite order, and these animals mimic other animals, for example for protection.
Now let’s look at it from a humanistic perspective. We have something that we call light deception on navy ships that, in the old days we would string lights in a way that would try a night to make a big large destroyer appear to be a fishing boat, a troller, and light deception is part of camouflage, part of survival.
So if there is a species that is far more advanced than human beings, it’s not inconceivable, look, we can go to the panda exhibit in the zoo in China and see that zookeepers will often wear these, and it appears quite ridiculous to us, but not so ridiculous to the pandas, the zookeepers are required to wear a panda suit, big furry teddy bear suits.
They do that, so when they go into the enclosure to clean up the enclosure and what not, provide food, they don’t disrupt the (mogo) panda population, at least as possible. Of course it’s entertaining to us as human to see a bunch of people walking in furry suits, but at the end of the day it’s effective.
So I’don’t think it’s inconceivable, the problem is that when we start going down the road, you say shapeshifting and things like that, immediately we starts going into the world of “woo” and paranormal, and there is nothing wrong with that.
You know, I’ve written articles on the paranormal, everything in science by definition is paranormal until it becomes normal, frankly, so the problem is that we don’t have hard evidence. We have a lot of anecdotal evidence, a lot of people report seeing things, that these UAP can look like an aircraft, sometimes it disguises itself as a 747 or that the occupants can make themselves look like human beings.
I don’t really know, during our time in AATIP we were focused on primarily on the nuts and bolts of these, and what our military witnesses and collection capabilities for telling us, at the time we didn’t have any reports of “shapeshifting.”
Now, cloaking that’s a different story, we do have some information that indicates that these things do have an ability to try to evade certain some of our sensors, for example, radar. You get these nonsensical, what looks like spoofing or radar jamming occurring. The low observability portion of the 5 observables, that includes things like active camouflage and cloaking and again low observability, it’s hard to see, so there is information that we have that pertains to that
Indeed, there are incidents when people in the government tried to aware the world of the aliens. Elizondo may sound absurd to somebody, but the reality is different than what humans perceive. “We are a very naive species and we assume and presume far too often,” he said.

During an interview (video at the bottom) with Baptiste Friscourt of Explorer Lab, Elizondo shared his views on the reality of the universe and how different species or individuals perceive it. For example, he said that in Wyoming in North America where he lives, there are over 20,000 indigenous people who interact with nature in a different way than western civilization.
He further stated: “They have a much more intimate relationship with nature and a lot of the things that appear to be paranormal right to western culture is actually considered quite normal for them.”
In his interview with GQ, Elizondo suggested that pilots who encountered the UFO ended up with physical symptoms, although his phrasing was ambiguous.
“I’ve got to be careful, I can’t speak too specifically, but one might imagine that you get a report from a pilot who says, “Lue, it’s really weird. I was flying and I got close to this thing and I came back home and it was like I got a sunburn. I was red for four days.” Well, that’s a sign of radiation. That’s not a sunburn; it’s a radiation burn.”
This has caused many theorists to speculate on the possibility that these objects “defend” themselves in an unknown way from terrestrial pursuits. Or that the propulsion used is totally different from what we know.
Elizondo even went on to say that other pilots also experienced space-time warping. “It felt like I was there for only five minutes, but when I looked at my watch 30 minutes went by, but I only used five minutes’ worth of fuel.” He said that the closer such objects got, the more they began to experience variations in space-time relative to the vehicle and the environment. This was said in reference to one of the theories about the objects, which mentions that they alter the space-time around the ship to move at incredible speeds.
He also mentioned that there are more unpublished videos about these mysterious unknown phenomena.
“I was talking to pilots routinely. There’s videos out there [in government, that the public haven’t seen] – there’s one that’s 23 minutes long. There’s another one where this thing is 50 feet away from the cockpit. I mean, it ain’t ours. We know that. Sometimes you just couldn’t believe it – you’d have seven or eight incidents in a single day. I’d get these emails from an admiral or a ship’s captain saying, “Lue, what do you want me to do? I can’t keep people below deck forever. These things are swarming my ship, they’re all over the place.” (Click here to read the full article)
