The US Department of Defense withheld video evidence showing two car-sized bright UFOs captured from the deck of a US warship. The Pentagon officials classified this bizarre sighting recorded by the crew of the USS Kearsarge. According to sources, the incident occurred in October 2021, with the “balls of light” hovering approximately 200 feet above the ocean, trailing behind the ship at a distance of around half a mile.
Dave C. Beaty, Emmy-award-winning cinematographer and a producer of the UFO documentary “The Nimitz Encounters,” which covers the renowned 2004 U.S. Navy incident involving a “Tic Tac” object, cliamed that he had information about the video. He revealed that the U.S. Marines stationed on the USS Kearsarge submitted a report to the Pentagon, which is now allegedly keeping the video under wraps. (Source)
In March 2022, two senior military officers from the Air Force and the Marine Corps reached out to Beaty about UFOs which immediately intrigued him as he has a long interest in it. He stated that both officers served in the Middle East.
The retired USAF officer, who had not personally witnessed any UFOs during his career, shared his belief that the Department of Defense has compelling evidence of extraordinary flight performance of UAPs (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena). He referred to Luis Elizondo’s “five observables,” which Elizondo had used to identify and analyze UAPs during his time running in Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification program. Elizondo resigned from the program in 2017, but the retired officer suggested that the DoD’s research into UAPs continued and that the evidence was both compelling and mysterious.
Marine pilot dubbed as “Mark” had his own sighting of “something” in the skies of Iraq in 2003. But he wanted to recount the USS Kearsarge sightings to Beaty that took place during training workups with the Navy PHIBRON and Marine Integration training units in the fall of 2021. Though he was not aboard the vessel, Mark was familiar with the case.
The story begins with the Marine’s new Ground-Based Air Defense (GBAD) Counter-UAS system and LMADIS, an air defense counter-drone system featuring the Polaris MRZR all-terrain vehicle, which is equipped with RADA RPS-42 S-band radar and the Sierra Nevada Modi electronic warfare system jammer. During restricted maneuvering training where the ship is more vulnerable to attack, air defense artillery units park the LMADIS on the deck and stand watch for air threats.
During an underway, the Marines operating the LMADIS unit on the USS Kearsarge spotted two “car-sized” bright objects following the ship a half-mile behind them and approximately 200 feet in the air. The crew attempted to gain a track using FLIR thermal targeting optics, but were unsuccessful. Then they switched to the video camera and recorded the two objects. The crew tracked the objects for several nights.
It is unclear if the crew was able to get a radar lock on the objects. Mark, who received this information from a shipmate, has the basics of what happened, but some details remain unclear. “Each ball of light was .5 miles behind the ship at 200′ doing shackle turns in November. About the size of a car is what I am told,” Mark said.

According to Mark’s source, a group of Marines on a ship in homefront waters spotted two unidentified objects following their ship. The Marines initially thought it was part of a training exercise and activated the counter-UAV technology on their LMADIS truck.
However, the countermeasures had no effect, and the two objects continued to follow the ship. It is unclear what type of jamming and countermeasures the LMADIS unit uses, but they were not able to disrupt the objects. The situation remains unexplained.
Earlier, Beaty had disclosed that the USS Kidd encountered at least four UAPs in July 2019, which was confirmed by the deck logs. “It’s likely that the Navy also sent aloft the SNOOPIE teams to gather photo and video evidence,” Beaty said. (Source)
Surprisingly, Beaty’s attempt to obtain records related to the event (case DON-USMC-006344) through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) case was rejected on the basis of no records found. He shared this update on Twitter on April 29, 2022.
My first FOIA on the USS Kearsarge UAP in 2021 to the Marines came back with no records. I wonder if the UAPTF report went directly to the navy? I’m told it exists 100%. Waiting on navy FOIA. #KearsargeUAP #UFO #UAP pic.twitter.com/SNiK1GrEiB

Moreover, in 2021, Elizondo stated to have seen the UFO footage, describing it as showing unidentified floating objects for 23 minutes. He made this revelation while talking to the YouTube channels Fade to Black and Witness Citizen UAP. During the talk, Elizondo revealed that the UFO video was extremely compelling.
According to Elizondo, the video is said to show multiple UFOs which are moving in ways and strange “patterns” that humans do not conventionally understand – with data recorded using US military systems.
He also mentioned this video in his interview with GQ. He stated: “It was the overwhelming weight of evidence and data. I was talking to pilots routinely. There’s videos out there [in government, that the public haven’t seen] – there’s one that’s 23 minutes long. There’s another one where this thing is 50 feet away from the cockpit. I mean, it ain’t ours.
We know that. Sometimes you just couldn’t believe it – you’d have seven or eight incidents in a single day. I’d get these emails from an admiral or a ship’s captain saying, ‘Lue, what do you want me to do? I can’t keep people below deck forever. These things are swarming my ship, they’re all over the place.’ That’s tough. I kept promising the cavalry was coming and I’d have answers for them and the cavalry never came. Senior leadership didn’t want to deal with it.”
In recent years, there has been a significant shift in the mainstream interest in UFOs due to the release of three shocking U.S. Navy UFO videos known as Gimbal, Go Fast, and Tic Tac.
The U.S. government has established a new office in the Pentagon, known as the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF), which serves as the official reporting structure for UFO encounters. This decision was made after the publication of a historic report last summer that confirmed numerous unexplained UAP encounters.
Many individuals, including defense insiders, intelligence officials, senators, and former presidents, have publicly acknowledged the presence of unexplained phenomena in the skies.
